Ingredients:
- 1 cup powder milk (preferably Nido)
- 5-6 Cardamom seeds (Alliachi dana)
- 5 tbsp Oil
- 1 pinch Baking Powder
- 2 1/2 tbsp All purpose flour (maida)
- As per need Very cold water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cup water for sugar syrup (sheera)
- 1/2 cup shredded Coconut (Khopra) and nuts to garnish
- As per need Vanilla Ice cream
Steps:
Mix oil in Nido milk well
Add allichi seeds, baking powder and flour and mix them very well.
Then add water which must be cold and try to make a dough, enough hard to make balls. In the mean time mix sugar in water and put it on low heat.
Fry balls in a pan on low heat very slowly, otherwise they will become hard.
After frying put them into the sugar syrup (sheera) and cook until they absorb the sheera well.
Garnish with coconut and nuts. Serve with or without the syrup.
For a twist, mix with vanilla ice cream and enjoy the twist.
