Ingredients:
- 1 cup sesame seeds
- ¾ cup jaggery
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp ghee
- Pistachio/Almond for garnishing
Steps:
Heat half ghee in non stick pan. Add sesame seeds to it. Roast it well while stirring continuously.
Boil jaggery in ½ cup of water to form thick syrup.
Add roasted sesame to the syrup, mix gently and take off the fire.
Spread melted ghee on the rolling board. Roll the mixture to 1- cm thickness. Allow mixture to sufficiently cool and mark it into the shape you desire.
Let it cool completely and break into the marked shape.
