Ingredients:
- ½ kg cashewnut powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 5 strands saffron
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 6 leaves silver foil ( chandi ka warq)
Steps:
Prepare sugar syrup by dissolving sugar in three fourth cup of water and bringing it to boil.
Add saffron and cook till it forms a syrup of three thread consistency. Melt ghee and add to this syrup.
Add cashewnut powder and mix thoroughly. Allow to cool.
Spread it on a greased plate about half centimeter thick. Spread silver warq over it and cut into diamond shape of approximately one and half inch a side.
