Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 hamburger buns
- ¼ cup seeded, chopped banana peppers
- ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp crushed garlic
- salt and pepper to taste
- lettuce, if desired
- tomatoes, sliced, if desired

- a slice of cheddar cheese
- Oil as required
Steps:
Preheat grill or BBQ to medium to high heat.
In a bowl, combine the turkey, peppers, and feta cheese. Season with salt and pepper, as desired. Mix in turmeric powder and crushed garlic. Form the mixture into 4 burgers/patties.
Cook burgers/patties for approx. 8-10 min. per side on the grill oiling them with brush or BBQ until well done, serve by layering cheese, lettuce, bell peppers and tomatoes.
